As a multidisciplinary installation conceptual artist rooted in the cultural and historical legacy of Chennai, India, my work examines the silent yet pervasive structures of caste, gender, and racial oppression. These systems—while often associated with specific geographies—manifest globally in subtle hierarchies, institutional patterns, and human behavior, and are explored through the lens of universal human rights themes. Through a fusion of Eastern and Western artistic traditions, I strive to reveal the untold narratives of those marginalized by systemic inequities while challenging viewers to reflect on their role within these power dynamics.

Self-portraiture often emerges in my work as a narrative device, enabling me to embody and amplify the voices of others. My aim is not to prescribe solutions but to provoke thought—compelling viewers to confront uncomfortable truths and interrogate the systems that shape their perceptions of social order. At its core, my practice seeks to uncover the humanity and resilience of those rendered invisible by systems of oppression, fostering dialogue, introspection, and greater awareness of our shared human experience.
