Pragati Gunasekar is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and storyteller based in New York City. A graduate of the New York Academy of Art (MFA), her work explores the intersections of caste, gender, and identity through painting, installation, and writing. With a background in brand strategy and a deep connection to her South Indian roots, she uses art to uncover silenced histories and amplify acts of resistance. Pragati is the founder of Art by Pragz and has led over 300 workshops globally. Through her blog, she shares reflections on the power of art as a tool for memory, protest, and transformation.
